Serving the Kitchener - Waterloo area since 1995

Previously owned by Joanne Flanagan, ConfiDance has been a staple in the KW community since it first opened.

The studio is now owned by Jessica Harrison, who prides herself in helping each of her students find their love of dance and the arts.

Whether your child is here for their first class at 3 years old or are a senior competitive dancer, we have a class for you.

Dance is more than just offering a great dance program.  It’s about inspiring the student and enhancing confidence. It’s about personal skills – dedication, perseverance, teamwork, and self-challenge, as much as it is about dance skills. Our vision isn’t just focused on technique, it encompasses the whole person.

Whether you’re an experienced dancer or you just want to have fun, ConfiDance has a class for you! Our teachers strive in earnest to help students realize their full potential and attain their personal goals. We acknowledge individual differences and abilities by tailoring our teaching styles to accommodate our students’ needs. Our belief is that dance is more than achieving success in the competitive arena. Success has to include the freedom of personal expression and enjoyment.

Whether you’re in it for recreation or professional training, just supply the desire and a love of movement and we’ll provide the rest. Dance may be hard work but the rewards are unsurpassed!

Creative Team

Our team is made up of dedicated and certified teachers with the goal of ensuring your child is having fun while also learning something new.

Our recreational stream is geared towards students looking to dance for fun and exercise. These classes offer the opportunity to expand your training in a fun and encouraging environment.  All recreational classes will participate in our year end show in June.

Our competitive stream is geared towards the more serious dancer. Our dance team ventures to about five competitive performances annually. Involvement in these programs requires a commitment of six to twelve hours of dance per week. The combination of team involvement, social interaction, travel and weekly practice sessions also creates an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all students involved. Our competitive team is by invitation only. If interested please contact us for more information.
